What is selfpublishing.com?

Here at selfpublishing.com, we are a company that helps you with every step of the book-writing and publishing process. Seriously! Everything from ideation to Amazon marketing. We teach you how to write, market, and self-publish your book in easy-to-follow steps delivered via online courses, 1:1 coaching, a vibrant community, and regular group coaching calls.

Most of our programs have a mix of education and done-with-you services to handle the more technical aspects of publishing. But we also offer professional book ghostwriting if you want a completely done-for-you experience!

Who owns selfpublishing.com?

Chandler Bolt is the owner and CEO of selfpublishing.com and our other website, Self-Publishing School. He is a successful, 4x bestselling author and TEDx speaker with a wealth of experience in the self-publishing industry.

How long will it take me to write a book with selfpublishing.com?

There’s no right or wrong amount of time it will take you to write a book. Each story and author is unique. Our priority is to make sure you are happy with your final published book or novel. We have some authors who had more time to commit and completed the entire process in just 90 days, and others who have larger novels and series that took more time.

The services offered in each program are available for up to one year from purchase, and many of our authors renew to write additional books and keep access to our author community and support system.

How much does selfpublishing.com cost?

We offer a range of nonfiction, fiction, memoir, and children’s book programs at different price points. All programs include some level of online training and 1:1 coaching, but the exact cost may change based on how much additional support may be right for you and your book or novel.

You can see the comparison and pricing of all our programs on the selfpublishing.com services page. You can also schedule a consultation with one of our experience Book Strategists who will help you find the right program for you and will walk you through our pricing and payment plan options.

Why do I need a book coach?

Would you try to become a professional guitar player without taking lessons? It’s the same with writing a book! If you want your book to be successful, it’s a good idea to have an experienced book coach walk you through the dos and don’ts of the industry.

When you sign up for one of our programs, you’ll be matched with a book coach who understands the nuances of your genre and can give you specific advice based on your author goals. They will meet you where you are, answer all of your questions, and create a customized plan with achievable milestones. You’ll also be able to attend office hours and regular group training calls that are hosted by other coaches, giving you the ability to learn from our entire coaching team!

If you read through the selfpublishing.com reviews we have above, you’ll see that our 1:1 coaching and our author community are frequently our authors’ favorite part of the selfpublishing.com programs. And we’d agree!

How many books has selfpublishing.com published?

We’ve worked with 1,000s of authors – some of whom have published MULTIPLE books with us – and currently help publish an average of 4 books a day. Needless to say, we have refined the process and our team truly understands how to help you turn your idea into a bestseller!

Does selfpublishing.com publish books for people?

We don’t publish your book in the traditional sense, but we do help you with book editing and production, as well as some of the more technical aspects of self-publishing – like selecting a book cover, doing professional book formatting, KDP uploads, and more. These are done-for-you services that are included in most of our programs.

That being said, selfpublishing.com does not actively publish your book for you. You are still in charge of all the creative decisions and overall process of publishing (that’s where the “self” in self-publishing comes in). And you will keep 100% of the royalties from your book or novel.

We are here as your publishing partner, ready to answer questions, provide training, help you overcome any obstacles, and celebrate with you when you reach bestseller status!
