We’re a fast-moving, mission-driven company, and behind every great mission is a solid financial backbone. That’s where you come in. As our Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our books are accurate, our insights are sharp, and our CEO’s personal finances are handled with excellence and discretion.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Austin, TX. You’ll be working closely with both our leadership and operations teams to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, provide strategic financial analysis, and help us maintain the financial integrity that fuels our growth.
You’ll own the month-end close process, support key financial decisions, and handle everything from bookkeeping to budget analysis. If you thrive in spreadsheets, love solving financial puzzles, and believe in the power of precision—this role was made for you.
Your key responsibilities will be Financial Reporting & Analysis, Personal Finance Management for the CEO, and Day-to-Day Accounting & Bookkeeping.

Qualifications

Required:
-
2+ years of Accounting or Business Analysis experience
-
2+ years of Bookkeeping experience
-
Proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting software
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills

High level of confidentiality and professionalism
-
Excellent prioritization and time management
-
Solid understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles
-
Extreme attention to detail (you notice the tiniest discrepancies)
Bonus Points:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
-
Master’s degree or CPA designation
-
Experience with financial forecasting or statistical analysis
-
SQL knowledge or comfort with querying data
-
A passion for continuous learning and professional development
-
Strong pattern recognition and analytical thinking skills
The Pay
💸 Salary range: $55,000–$70,000/year depending on experience
