What You’ll Be Doing
We have a fast-growing brand and an amazing in-house creative team producing high-converting content, landing pages, and offers. Your job? Drive the strategy, run the tests, scale what works—and turn ideas into growth.
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Austin, TX, with a strong focus on performance. You’ll be joining a mission-driven team that’s passionate about helping people publish books that change lives—and we’re looking for someone who’s just as fired up about building scalable, data-backed marketing systems.
You’ll be responsible for leading our paid acquisition strategy, optimizing the full funnel, and refining marketing automations to drive qualified leads. If you thrive in a test-and-learn environment and love building systems that convert—this is the role for you.
Your key responsibilities will be Growth Strategy and Paid Media, Conversion Rate Optimization, and Marketing Automation.

- Have less than 5 years of experience in growth marketing
- Don’t have a proven track record of increasing ROAS and reducing CAC
- Don’t have the drive and ability to self motivate

Qualifications
At SelfPublishing.com, we value work ethic, coachability, and your past marketing results more than your degree (or lack thereof), GPA, etc.
Have you delivered results in a similar role in the past? If so, that’s what we’re looking for.
Required:
- 5+ years in growth marketing with strong experience in paid media + CRO
- Managed $200K+/year in ad spend across multiple platforms
- Power user in HubSpot (workflows, segmentation, scoring, A/B testing)
- Proven ability to build high-converting funnels and offers
- Analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of increasing ROAS and reducing CAC
Bonus Points:
- Background in SaaS, EdTech, or high-growth startups
- Agency experience or freelance hustle mentality
- Familiar with SEO, content repurposing, or PLG strategies
The Pay
💸 Salary range: $67,000–$87,000/year depending on experience.
