About the Position

Job Responsibilities

Grab the bull by the horns, be accountable for supporting the overall financial health and strategic decision making by providing incredible deliverables, an amazing experience, and support. Specifically, you’ll focus on 3 areas:

  • Timeliness & Accuracy of Financial Reporting and reconciliation (Monthly reports submitted by the 6th of the following month with 99%+ accuracy)
  • Past Due A/R Collections
    • 0-30 – 1.6%
    • 31+ 1.2%
  • Reduce Merchant fee %


  • The Bookkeeper & Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for maintaining precise financial records and managing the accounts receivable process to ensure optimal cash flow. This role plays a critical part in the financial health of the company by ensuring timely collection and accurate accounting of revenues. The position combines detailed financial management with effective customer interaction to support the company's overall financial strategy.


    Role Competencies:

  • Accuracy of Financial Records and AR Ledger (Error rate less than 2%)

  • Compliance Rate (100% adherence to accounting standards and regulations)

  • Financial Record Keeping, Reconciliation, and Reporting
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software and AR Systems
  • Efficient Management of Accounts Receivable
  • Attention to Detail and High Accuracy
  • Time Management, Prioritization, and Organization
  • Customer Service and Communication for AR Management
  • Compliance with Financial Policies, Regulations, and Credit Management
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
  • Proactive with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Patient and customer-oriented approach
  • What technical knowledge do you need to perform in your role? 
    1. QuickBooks or other similar accounting softwares, Google Spreadsheets, Excel, PayPal, Rippling,, HubSpot, Slack, Asana

    2. Understanding of general accounting and bookkeeping principles and receivables.
      NOTE: This position is full-time and virtual. Meaning you can work from anywhere. The team here at is located around the world, with the majority of us in North America.

Compensation Structure

$38,000-$50,000 + incentives

Weekly Schedule

This is a 100% work from home position with the expectation of 45 hours a week of availability. You are welcome to open additional slots on a given week if you would like. The hours can be quite flexible, since we have apsiring authors all around the world.


  • Required
    • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Prefered:
    • 2 years of receivables, sales, or customer facing experience
    • Certification in bookkeeping or accounting
    • 3 year of experience with bookkeeping for a business of $15mil+ in revenues
    • 2 year of experience with managing books for an internet marketing company
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication
    • Ability to analyze data
