What You’ll Be Doing
We’re growing fast—and our sales team needs a bold, high-energy leader to bridge the gap between marketing and sales, lead our SDR team, and turn qualified leads into calendar-packed opportunities.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Austin, TX, with a clear focus on performance, leadership, and coaching. You’ll be part team-builder, part systems thinker, and part top-producing SDR yourself—driving results through smart processes, strong communication, and relentless execution.
You’ll be responsible for leading and coaching our SDR team, generating qualified appointments, and building systems that drive higher conversion and efficiency across the board.
Your key responsibilities will be SDR Coaching & Team Management, Lead Qualification, and Pipeline Optimization.

Qualifications
At SelfPublishing.com, we care more about your grit, mindset, and track record than your college degree or resume length.
Required:
✅ 2+ years experience in outbound sales or lead generation
✅ 1+ years experience leading a team of SDRs or junior sales reps
✅ Ability to coach others to hit and exceed sales KPIs
✅ Strong understanding of SDR metrics and sales funnel optimization
✅ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
✅ Highly organized and systems-minded
✅ Experience with CRM platforms (we use Close) and workflow tools (e.g. Zapier, Slack, etc.)
✅ Obsessed with improving performance, team accountability, and lead quality
Bonus Points:
✨ Experience building automations or outbound workflows
✨ Background in appointment setting, call center, or sales operations
✨ Prior experience in coaching or people development
✨ Familiarity with the book publishing or online education space
✨ A passion for helping people turn their ideas into impact
The Pay
💸 Salary: $60,000/year + uncapped commission
