What You’ll Be Doing
- People & Leadership: Manage, coach, and hold our leadership team accountable. You will have 5 direct reports spanning Talent Development (Ashleigh), Finance/Bookkeeping, Book Production (Qatharina), Author Success (Michael), and Coaching (Brett).
- Operational Excellence: Streamline our workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and build repeatable, tech-forward systems. You will lead the charge on integrating AI into our daily workflows to drive massive company-wide efficiency.
- Financial Guardianship: Own the health of our P&L. You will oversee our bookkeeping function, manage cash flow, drive revenue retention (including high-level customer saves and A/R collection), and ensure the CEO has crystal-clear financial visibility.
- Austin HQ Culture: Serve as the primary, high-energy leader in our West Lake Hills office, setting the standard for effort, attitude, and accountability for the local team.

- You are an Operator > Strategist: You get your energy from execution, building systems, and making the trains run on time. Ideas are great, but "Getting Stuff Done" (GSD) is your oxygen.
- You Have Managed Managers: This isn't your first rodeo leading people. You know how to develop leaders, manage varied personalities, and drive accountability across different departments.
- You are an AI Champion: You don't just use AI; you love it. You are constantly looking for ways to leverage AI tools to automate manual tasks and scale human output.
- High EQ + Direct Communication: You can deliver tough feedback with empathy. You know how to navigate high-stakes personnel or customer situations with a calm, firm, and fair approach.
- You Love the "Gym or Franchise" Grind: If you have successfully run a multi-unit fitness studio network, a regional territory for a major franchise, or a fast-paced home services branch—you speak our language. You know how to optimize labor, control costs, and drive local performance.
Required Experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience as a General Manager, Chief of Staff, VP of Operations, or Multi-Unit Regional Manager (experience in high-growth small business, franchise operations, or multi-location fitness environments like OrangeTheory, F45, Lifetime, or Neighborly brands is highly preferred).
- Proven experience managing managers and cross-functional teams (People, Ops, Finance).
- Deep financial fluency: Experience partnering with bookkeepers, mastering P&L management, and managing cash flow.
- Tech & AI Savviness: Strong working knowledge of modern operations software and a track record of implementing AI/automation tools in business workflows.
- In-Office Driven: You thrive on the energy of a local team and are excited to be on-site at our West Lake Hills office 5 days a week.
What You’ll Get:
- Compelling Compensation: $125,000 – $200,000 Base Salary (dependent on experience) + Profit Share.
