Barbara Hartzler is an Urban Fantasy Academy author who crafts captivating tales about Seers, Chosen Ones, sacred stones, and secret societies ... oh my!

Barbara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Central Bible College, with a focus on drama and media. Her accolades include winning an NRB/Focus on the Family essay scholarship, writing and directing a successful one-act play, and reaching the semi-finals in ACFW’s Genesis contest.

Her career took a transformative turn at selfpublishing.com, where she relaunched her books into the successful Montrose Paranormal Academy Series and its spinoff, the Shadowstone Academy Series. This success led to an invitation from SPS to become a fiction coach. Now, Barbara helps aspiring authors self-publish their novels while working on her next series.
